USB Flash Drive Magic for Promoting Yourself Fast

We all have them. Swinging from our keychains as we cruise down the road, sticking out of our backpacks as we pull out our books, even sliding out of a pocketknife. Gigabytes of information are accessible at our fingertips, in a device the size of a finger, in a USB flash drive. Each year, USB drives are developed that can hold more and more data.

Don’t you like the convenience of being able to just plug the flash drive into your computer, drag and drop the files you want to put in it, and pull out the drive. Then you can carry it with you wherever you want to transfer the files. Stuff it in your pocket, throw it in your bookbag, hook it onto a keychain. Yeah, it’s what you want, your way.

Well, apparently a lot of people in this world enjoy the convenience of flash drives. In fact, one company, CF Gear, sells customized flash drives that can be preloaded with music, data, or whatever a customer wants.

Just imagine the possibilities. A budding music artist trying to promote his songs could order several flash drives containing selections from his recordings and printed with his name and contact information. He could send these out for review, where the drives could easily be inserted in a computer so people could listen to the young musician’s works. Bet Beethoven could have been even more popular if he’d had the chance to spread his music around like this. Who knows, sending out these songs could be a start to a great career in composing or performing.

Or a graphic designer could put his portfolio of artwork onto a flash drive to give to potential clients. They could see with a few clicks of a mouse examples of work he has done and evaluate it. He could order a bulk supply of USB drives to have on hand to give out promoting his business. They could even be printed with some artwork of his—a logo of some sort—to make the drives look nice and snazzy to give out. Creativity can go a long way. What about a video introduction to the guy, and then a slideshow of his artwork.

What about a software developer promoting a new program? He could provide a demo version and preload a slideshow of features to encourage potential customers to buy the product. His table might just be a popular stop at an exhibition for computer developers.

People generally don’t turn down free stuff. If you give them a colorful flash drive promoting your work, they probably won’t turn it down. Who knows, they might even take a look. Think about the possibilities of advertising. What venues could you go to and give out these drives?

CF Gear’s products are widely acclaimed by universities and marketing agencies alike. Their website offers pictures of the many models available, the options for customizing data and printing logos, and a form to fill out for a free estimate.
